Alcaraz Unveils Tattoo Celebrating First Roland Garros Win

-

Carlos Alcaraz has added another tattoo to his collection.

Last month, he promised to commemorate his Roland Garros victory with a new tattoo. He was busy traveling to the UK for the grass-court season and vacationing in Ibiza, so he had no time for it until after winning Wimbledon by defeating Novak Djokovic in straight sets.

After that win, Alcaraz visited Joaquin Ganga in Los Angeles, a famous tattoo artist known for working with stars like LeBron James and Post Malone. In a video shared by Ganga, Alcaraz got an Eiffel Tower tattoo with the date of his Roland Garros victory over Alexander Zverev.

In an Instagram post, Ganga called Alcaraz an “inspiration” and hinted at more tattoos coming soon.

How Many Tattoos Does Alcaraz Have?

This isn’t Carlos’s first tattoo; he has others but plans to slow down on getting new ones because of a promise he made to his parents. He wants tattoos only for each of his first Grand Slam titles.

One of his tattoos is the date “11.09.22,” marking his 2022 US Open win when he became the youngest World No. 1 just 24 hours later. Another is triple Cs on his wrist—standing for cabeza (head), corazon (heart), and cojones (balls)—a motto from his grandfather that gives him strength during tough matches.

Fans might think it’s cool how each tattoo tells a story about him.

He also has a strawberry tattoo, symbolizing Wimbledon’s favorite snack among fans and players alike. Though he’s fast at winning Grand Slams, he hasn’t won the Australian Open yet but aims to get a new tattoo if he wins gold at the Paris Olympics.

What do you think about Carlos’s tattoos?
