Carlos Alcaraz is an exciting tennis player with unpredictable gameplay.
Everyone, including Novak Djokovic, thinks Jannik Sinner and Alcaraz will dominate the ATP Tour in the next ten years. They are both young but already very strong players.
This year, Sinner won the first Grand Slam, and Alcaraz took the second. Yet, they play differently.
Talking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Becker highlighted their differences. Sinner is very confident and plays consistently no matter who he faces. His performance rarely changes much.

Comparing Styles:
Alcaraz, however, is more unpredictable. His best moments are higher than Sinner’s, but he also has low points where his performance drops significantly. This was clear in their recent match in Paris.
When Alcaraz is at his peak, he’s better than Sinner. But when his game drops, he falls behind the Italian player.
“We all have weaknesses, even Alcaraz! No, seriously,” said Becker. “On the court he’s close to perfection but sometimes fluctuates while Sinner stays consistent.”
“When you watch Jannik today,” Becker continued, “you know what to expect; with Carlos you don’t. Right now Jannik is mentally rock solid.”
Fans might think it’s thrilling to see such different styles clash on the court.
In past matches between them, Alcaraz often wins against Sinner. But this can change anytime because of how Alcaraz’s level shifts during games.
What do you think? Do you prefer a steady player like Sinner or an unpredictable one like Alcaraz?
