Holger Rune and Casper Ruud are set to compete in the 2024 Nordic Battle, playing both home and away matches.
These two top Scandinavian tennis stars from Denmark and Norway recently hinted at an exhibition match, sparking excitement among fans. Rune was ranked World No. 4 a year ago and has four ATP titles, including the Paris Masters. Ruud, a former World No. 2, boasts twelve ATP titles.
Just weeks ago, Rune participated in the 2024 Champions Battle with Caroline Wozniacki, Gael Monfils, and Elina Svitolina . The event featured singles and mixed doubles matches at Jyske Bank Boxen arena in Herning, Denmark. Afterward, Rune invited any ATP player on Instagram to face him in Copenhagen later this year.
